NIGERIA IDOL PREMIERE EXPOSES CHARLYBOY

In few days from now, the Nigerian Idol season 2 will become regular on different National and international TV stations.  This was revealed in the recent premiere of the reality show held in Lagos. However, one of the noticeable changes revealed during the premiere was the clear cut difference between the first season and the second season of the show.  The current edition of the show clearly indicates a departure from the conventional and regular music reality show to a more dramatic, breathe taking and awe inspiring show.

However, one major thing that most people took away from the premiere was the glamour and the characterization of the judges as well as the impact created by the enigmatic Charlyboy who had not only provided the needed drama and ambiance for the show but has used his creative skills to set a new standard for   Nigerian music reality shows.

One would recall that his inclusion as one of the judges of the Nigerian Idol was at the early stage visited with a lot of criticism. However, many people who turned out for the premiere had confessed that even though the other judges have not fallen short of their expectation, Charlyboy had taken the show to another level.
Many who watched the premiere have had no dull moment, commenting that the needed drama for the reality show was realized through the effort of the social engineer. The audience couldn’t stop being amused and bewildered by the different dramatic actions of the different episodes.

What started on a low key in FCT took a different turn in Enugu when CB as he is fondly called took a pet Python to the show. It was truly a drama in a drama as the audience and the press could not stop shouting during the premiere. They loved it.  The rising action continued at every point the judges disagreed with each other. The climax came when the humanitarian side of the Charlyboy brand was displayed in what the organizers have termed the street talent hunt.  The clips showed how Charlyboy rode to the street to discover raw talents for the organizers. It was another show in a show.  The people’s General spent his personal money to achieve this as winner in each of the three categories smiled home with a hundred dollars. Not only was he on the street to discover talent, but also took active part in the dance. It was a sight to behold as CB judged and danced on the streets.

The last drama that took place shortly before the premiere was the arrival of the Areafada who stormed the venue in an unusual style. Elaborately costumed with two Charly’s Angels in company, Charlyboy received an overwhelming accolades from fans who concluded that he has been able to display his different elements since the inception of the show, stating that the premiere had revealed his mystique, generosity, creativity and his doggedness as they promise never to let go any moment when the show hits the airwaves.

Meanwhile, sources close to the Areafada revealed that he may be taking a different turn when the show gets serious this December; revealing that CB may want to encourage traditional values through traditional songs instead of the present demand for contemporary music.

CHARLYBOY DARES A PYTHON AT NIGERIAN IDOL

While everybody was at a distance, running for ‘dear’ life, Charlyboy fearlessly romanced with this animal bringing up several questions as regards his relationship with snakes. He never showed any sign of fear while putting his hands in the mouth of the Python, caressing the monster and turning it to a muffler.

THE SEPT. EDITION OF THE CHARLYBOY MINISTRY OF YOUTH AFFAIR (CBMOYA)

CBKA GETS TRANSFORMED
The Charlyboy Ministry of Youth Affair, otherwise known as CB-MOYA which was formally called Charlyboy Kiddies Affair (CBKA) has witnessed a drastic transformation with the present standard it recently set for itself in order to resuscitate the dying hope of the Nigerian youth in different schools. CB-MOYA, prior to the change of name had empowered different students from across the country but with special focus on primary and junior secondary schools. However, the Charlyboy Foundation in trying to expand the scope of the program has extended its gesture to even Senior Secondary schools and other tertiary institutions that it had considered worthy of the Foundation assistance.

In the September Edition of the program, it was an awe inspiring and memorable event for the lucky school, “The Hampstead Academy” which stormed the Punk Palace in the most electrifying state. The students who were smartly dressed on their Navy blue Jacket got into the punk palace in an exhilarating mood for a once in a life time tour and for their possible interaction with the AreaFada. get him released.

Congratulations my dear for this brilliant outing says CB

The event that began at exactly 10 pm on a bright Friday morning never experienced a dull moment as the students had the fun of their lives. After the registration, AreaFada officially welcomed the well organized and disciplined students into his abode with his usual no dull moment way. The students who responded unequivocally had him glued to his seat till the end of the event. As the program of the event reeled on, the coordinator of the Charlyboy Foundation, Miss Chiaka Anosike in her well articulated speech presented an extensive details of the  aim of the CBMOYA while at the same time encouraging the students to passionately hold on to their dreams.  “The CBMOYA has a general and

specific purpose; however, one of the specifics is to find the most appropriate way of encouraging young people like you. I welcome you all to this gathering. Simply sit tight and enjoy your afternoon” Chiaka concluded. Meanwhile, the student showed the organizers of the CBMOYA that they came to the punk palace ready to showcase their skills as the dance competition clearly showed the creativity in them. Different acrobatic moves were displayed by the students. About five of the students are already through to the Charlyboy talent hunt auditions scheduled for March next year.

We came, we saw and conquered. We will be back again

The quiz competition that took a dramatic turn saw a 7 year old Adaeze occupying the CB brain storm seat. After several questions and answers, the little Adaeze emerged as the winner of the Quiz competition, hence the CBMOYA Queen of the month.
The most memorable of the entire activities was the bike ride. The young lads embarked on a ride with Charlyboy. Out of excitement, they had requested for another invitation to the Punk Palace.  Meanwhile, about three winners emerged in the different activities of this edition of the CB MOYA and were all empowered by the Charlyboy Foundation. Gift Items and forms for the Charlyboy Talent hunt have all been distributed to the students for onward empowerment. The students who held Charlyboy hostage in his compound had to be convinced that CB would be visiting their school soon after then before they could finally
