C.B GIVES BACK TO THE STREET

It was a great evening in the Federal Capital Territory when the enigmatic Areafada gave back to street. C.B as he is fondly called had put some smiles on people’s faces as he stormed the street of the FCT with his close aides to distribute Christmas gifts to those that could be considered disadvantaged. CHARLYBOY REPOSITIONS NIGERIAN YOUTH FOR 2011 ELECTIONS…

                                                               LIL- MICHAEL

                                                           ANGEL
It was alluring, glamorous and enchanting at the Punk Palace on the 11th December, 2010 when Charlyboy, in his artistic and advocacy might assembled over seven hundred Nigerian youth in his Punk Palace residence. The event that was tagged “Charlyboy and the Youth” was another way the people’s general could mark a successful and bountiful year. The end of the year bash was organized to bring the Nigerian youth whom the Charlyboy foundation has been able to set up within the period of the eventful 2010 to the punk palace, and to reposition their philosophy of good governance as regards the 2011 elections.
The event which started late in the evening of a beautiful Sunday saw many upcoming artistes, winners of the Charlyboy talent hunt, comedians, dancers and friends of the brand trooping into the Punk palace with great expectations on what the Areafada had in stock for them.
It was not a disappointing evening after all as the host did his best while ensuring that the youth had the best of fun. The bash was kick-started with an opening speech from the HOD, Concept Development Unit of the New Wave Productions; that houses and manages the Charlyboy foundation. In his opening speech, David Egwu had affirmed that the brand got engaged in different successful projects within the year because the youth had responded positively; hence a bash of this nature was imperative to show appreciation, and to share the same thought with the youth on some national pressing problem as regards the forth coming federal elections.
The event witnessed great performances from some upcoming artistes, thus giving the audience the peaceful and joyous atmosphere that they desired. The event did not end without some smiles from lucky winners of the bash raffle draws. The winners smiled home with a DSTV decoder and dish, electric blender, electric Kettle and a host of other gift items.
Expressing their satisfaction over the honor of an invitation to the Punk Palace, the youth and other dignitaries at the event pledged their support for the Areafada in 2011. They had stated unequivocally that they shall remain with him as his choice will always be the choice of the people.
