Nigerian amazing singer, Eragga has drooped yet another soul-melting track titled Amen.

The 17 year-old artist, Prince Austin Eragga who is currently with the Wisest Family was born in Lagos-Nigeria and delved into music at the age of 13. He has since become a voice to reckon with, having kick-started a full time musical career at a tender age.

Amen is a message aimed at wishing all emerging stars a successful journey in their musical sojourn.

The song tends to highlight the numerous  mouth-watering benefits attached to becoming a star, and a wish that all those benefits come the way of a struggling and emerging artist.

Boko Haram shows new caliphate in latest video, denies any form of truce

Nigeria’s Boko Haram terrorist group has claimed an unprecedented victory in its new video obtained by AFP on Sunday. The video shows militants on an armoured vehicle parading themselves in an unidentified town they now claim they have taken over from the Nigerian troops.
The group’s leader Abubakar Shekau was seen leading the group and at the same time preaching to locals.
Some scenes in the video showed residents cheering Islamist fighters for the feat they had achieved.

The latest video is coming when the group’s leader, Abubakar Shekau is claiming that he has created a caliphate within Nigeria.
The 44-minute video also showed how Boko Haram passionately supports other acclaimed caliphates, including the one announced in Iraq and Syria by the Islamic State (IS) group.
Shekau in the video which brought out his full image, repeatedly dismissed claims of ceasefire talks with the Federal government.
The message being preached to the people was taken up by a sermon from Shekau, delivered indoors but apparently played on a speaker to locals assembled outside.

“We have indeed established an Islamic caliphate,” he said.
“To everyone living in Islamic Caliphate, we convey our greetings,” mentioning “brethren” in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Azerbaijan, Shishan (an Islamist term for Chechnya), Yemen, Somalia and “the Caliphate in Iraq and Syria,” as those caliphates which will enjoy Boko Haram’s support.
Speaking further on the cease fire talks between Boko Haram and the Nigerian government, Shekau said: ” There is no truce between me and Nigerian tyrants.” He dismissed the credibility of Danladi Amhadu, the purported negotiator.
“This person Danladi… if he thinks he can, let him show his face. By Allah, we will kill him,” the Islamist leader said.

Nigeria needs leaders like Ahmadu Bello- Maitama Sule

A frontline elder statesman from the North, Amb.Yusuf Maitama Sule has said for Nigeria to overcome its numerous challenges, it needs leaders like Sir Ahmadu Bello to pilot its affairs.

He said the late Premier of Northern Nigeria lived and died for the liberation and development of Northern Nigeria and the country as a whole.

Maitama Sule spoke in Kaduna at the commissioning of Sir Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation office building on Monday.

According to him, the late premier cannot be faulted politically, religiously, economically and socially.

He said,”If Nigeria adopts the philosophy and leadership style of the late Premier of Northern Nigeria, the nation’s economic, religious and political challenges would be solved in no distant future.

“During the reign of Sardauna as the Premier of Northern Nigeria, Nigeria was listed among two other developing nations to attain development 20 years after. But, today the other two countries, India and China have left us behind.

“Similarly, the Nigeria’s Defence Industry Corporation of Nigeria (DICON) was established the same year with that of Brazil, but what is our own defence industry here in Kaduna producing today?

“We need leaders, not looters, we need leader who will quit when the ovation is loudest, not leaders who will insist on ruling, even when they can no longer perform, those who want to remain in power till death do them apart, like a church marriage. May God give us such leaders.”
