CHARLYBOY LOSES BLOOD WITH A SMILE
As part of his humanitarian and selfless effort to consistently give back to the streets where he claims allegiance, the former PMAN president, Mr. Charles Oputa has since last year accepted to be one of the Ambassadors and donors of the National Blood Transfusion. His participation in the National blood donor’s day of last year is in no way akin to this year’s event due to his active role during the execution of the 2011 National Blood Donor’s day. Charlyboy did not only attend the road work and the seminar as the case may be, but voluntarily donated blood at the event. The social Engineer was the man to watch at the event as he joined the road walk amidst cheers from participants. His participation no doubt added color and flavor to the event. However, while presenting his ambassadorial speech at the event, the Area Fada had stated that Life and blood were symbiotically fused and whoever gives blood gives life. The Social crusader had affirmed that even though he had always used his hard earned money, sweat and struggle to save lives in different communities and on the streets, it is imperative to demonstrate same through his blood; a heroic sign of sacrifice and selflessness. Speaking further, C.B as he is fondly called by his followers opined that he would not hesitate to be part of a project that seeks to alleviate the pain of the ordinary people especially that which affects the poor masses. He urged Nigerians to make blood donation a habit and be considered a social obligation for every citizen. While speaking to the press during the Conference, C.B did not hesitate to assert that the world was spherically and creatively designed for a purpose, hence, we all stand, holding our hands; whatever one drops in the hands of others will surely come back to his or her own hands.
