In about 24 hours to the 2014 FIFA
World Cup Qualifier between Nigeria and Malawi, the camp of the African champions,
Nigeria, appears to be bubbling as all the players had on Thursday evening
assured Nigerians of an unprecedented victory against the Malawian side.
The NFF Chairman, Aminu Maigari
had earlier assured Nigeria of great victory, affirming that the team would go
all out for nothing short of victory, and will not underrate the Malawians “The
Super Eagles will not underrate the Malawians. It is not in our team’s nature
to take any team for granted. The Super Eagles will approach this match with
all the seriousness it deserves. It is a key game towards our World Cup ticket
agenda,” said Maigari.
Nigeria needs only a draw to conclude this
round at the top of Group F in order to reach the 10-team final elimination
round, where a home-and-away fixture will determine Africa’s five flag-bearers
at the next world cup in Brazil.
The Nigerian side will be launching
all attacking game against the visiting Malawian side with the following
attackers ; Uche Nwafor, Brown Ideye, Emmanuel Emenike, Victor Moses, Obinna Nsofor
Ahmed Musa and Sola Ameobi.
