Rita Marley, wife of the late reggae music icon, Bob Marley, will no doubt take part in this year’s Felabration Festival, Dgr8tnews has gathered. The wife of the legendary Marley agreed to be part of the event as a special guest. The event is scheduled to hold October this year in Lagos State.
Mrs. Marley will be speaking on the symposium topic; ‘Movement of The People: The Fela-Bob Marley Perspective.’
She accepted to be part of the event after a meeting with Yeni Kuti in Ghana
Ironically, in all their years as musician, while on earth, the duo of Fela and Bob Marley never performed on the same stage. The next Felabration can only create a platform for the two legends to appear spiritually on stage.
