Super Eagles striker, Ahmed Musa,  has disclosed to his team mates and the press at Calabar, where the Super Eagles are currently camped ahead of the Nigeria-Malawi encounter for the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifier , that  his house in Jos was burgled on Wednesday by about 11 armed men.

Musa disclosed that the robbers left with many valuables.

“Armed robbers came to my house in Jos around 8:30 p.m on Wednesday night. They beat up my mother, people in the house and the security men, and went away with valuables. After they left, my mother was rushed to the hospital, but she’s back home now. The doctors say she’s fine,” Musa had told Dgr8tnews in confirmation of earlier news on the incident.

Musa said that the robbers came with another intention as they demanded for his wife and children. He suspected they could be kidnappers.

“‘When they entered, the men started searching everywhere for my wife and son who had travelled earlier to Kano. When their search turned up empty, they hurt my mother and stole some valuables,” Musa had avowed.

Musa said his entire family members were now okay.

Nigeria will play host to a formidable Malawian side this Saturday in Calabar. Already, every player has arrived the camp, as monitored by Dgr8tnews.
